On completing his education, Shaun enjoyed 5 years working in local broadcasting. Eventually diversifying his career into more profitable areas, he then spent 9 years within the Thomson Organisation, where he was part of the management team who created and launched Thomson Directories. This was followed by 6 years at car leasing giant Lex where record growth levels were reported during his time with them.
He then took the unusual step of joining a management buy-out team at a small stagnant leasing company called Fleet Management Services (FMS). Seeing this role as the ultimate challenge, he helped transform the firm into an innovative, forward thinking organisation enjoying new levels of profitability, customer satisfaction and ultimately success. During this period FMS were 5 times finalists in the Fleet News Awards and won their category in the prestigious Daily Telegraph and British Telecom National Customer Service Awards.
This transformation eventually attracted the attention of Abbey National who acquired FMS in 1998 for the value of its brand and its blue chip customer base. Shaun became Group Sales Director of First National Vehicle Holdings as well as continuing his role as Managing Director of FMS.
Throughout his career Shaun has used his presentation skills to good effect delivering his own training courses, facilitating at his own Company conferences and seminars and fronting his own corporate videos. He now specialises in this area facilitating at Business Conferences, Product Launches, Seminars and Award Ceremonies, alongside his Leadership Development Programmes, ‘One to One’ coaching and Sales and Customer Service Training for blue chip companies. His latest venture into voiceovers is also proving to be a great success.
